Therapy for women who are tired of feeling like they should be able to handle everything.

I work with adult women navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, ADHD, autism, and the complicated ways these experiences can overlap. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based trauma therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, IFS/Parts Work, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or struggling with past trauma, I’m here to help you navigate those experiences with support and understanding.

Trauma therapy that goes beyond simply talking about what happened.

Trauma can continue affecting the way you think, feel, relate to others, and experience your body, even when you understand intellectually that the past is in the past. EMDR and other trauma-focused approaches can help you process experiences that still feel emotionally or physically "stuck."

Therapy for women who often feel misunderstood

I especially enjoy working with women who have spent years feeling like they're too sensitive, too much, or somehow failing to keep up with everyone else.

My clients come from all walks of life, but many are women who were diagnosed with ADHD and/or Autism later in life. Many have been misunderstood or misdiagnosed by medical professionals at some point, leaving them with a painful and unhelpful belief that something is wrong with them.

A diagnosis (formal or not) can be validating, but it can also lead to a new question: “What now?”

You may find yourself reprocessing your life through the lens of this new understanding. Suddenly, formative experiences and beliefs start to look different.

At the same time, there may be lingering trauma from childhood, adulthood, relationships, or even from years of being misunderstood and mislabeled. You may understand yourself differently now, but that doesn't necessarily mean your body, relationships, or nervous system have caught up.

Over time, these experiences can contribute to anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship difficulties, or maybe just a persistent feeling that you're struggling to live up to what you should be able to do. You may find yourself overstimulated, struggling with focus or executive functioning, or constantly feeling like you're falling short of your own expectations at work and home.

Therapy can be a place to make sense of all of it, not just to understand why you've struggled, but to begin figuring out where you go from here.

Through therapy, you can learn to honor your emotions and make progress toward building a life built on your values. My approach is grounded in curiosity, respect, and validation. I will be helping you explore your experiences without judgment, so you can move toward a more joyful, fulfilling life.
